It is impossible to completely copy someone's look.  How can anyone expect to duplicate a look when they cannot duplicate the person's body?  Getting inspiration and adapting a look to flatter your body is the best option.  Some boxes that need to be ticked for each body shape:

Body shape A :  Waist detail, A-line skirt,  sleeve gathers or pleating, vertical lines below the waist, horizontal lines at shoulder, separates to ensure good fit

Body shape H :  Avoid horizontal lines at waist, vertical lines from shoulder to hem, detail at neckline, asymmetrical hemline, fabrics that skim & not cling, column dressing, small all over repeat pattern on fabric

Body shape I  firmer fabric, boxy design, texture, high necklines add inches to your bust,

Body shape O : Keep detail at the top half of your body, avoid high necklines, soft fabrics that skim and not cling, small repeated pattern on fabric, hems that finish at knees and three quarter sleeves

Body shape V : Raglan sleeves, wider skirt at hem line, avoid column looking outfits, horizontal lines at the base of hemlines, leggings with tunics that flow outwards balance the upper body

Body shape X : Waist-ed vintage style dresses, fitted crop jackets, wear belts, peplum jackets, Empire waists

Body shape 8 : Separates to ensure well fitting garments, shirts with Empire waists, make sure the fabric skims below your waist, wrap-style tops,  necklaces that finish around the base of your neck,  jackets with structured shoulders, choose full sleeves on shirts, boat necklines, ruching around bust

It's important to work with the body you have not the body you would like to have.  Discover your best features and make sure you are encouraging people to look at them.  When we look beyond what we haven't  and work with what we do have ...leads to looking our best.  Put a smile on your face and embrace the one and only you.  Don't forget to have fun.
